Support network

Trouble on the road? Ask the community for help.

The community SOS is free for all members. It connects you with people nearby who can help, without exposing your location to everyone.

  1. Step 1

    You ask for help

Through the SOS form: what happened and roughly where you are.

  2. Step 2

    The moderators post it

A moderator posts the request in the emergency group, without your exact location.

  3. Step 3

    Whoever can help reaches out

Travelers, repair shops and locals message you privately.

  4. Step 4

    You sort it out directly

Location, service and price are agreed between you and whoever helps.

Emergency with injuries or a risk to life? In Brazil, call 192 (SAMU, ambulance), 193 (Fire Department), 190 (Police) or 191 (Federal Highway Police) first. The community connects people; it does not provide rescue or services.

Who's behind it

Made by people who live on the road

Comunidade Overlander is run by people who have lived and traveled on the road since 2022, and by someone with 30 years of experience on trails and off-road. Along the way, we learned firsthand that, far from home, a simple problem turns into a real ordeal: the vehicle breaks down somewhere with no signal, the nearest repair shop is hours away, and the right gear is expensive.

Since 2022 living and traveling on the road

30 years of trails, off-roading and gear

That's why we know what a traveler needs: knowing who to trust, having someone nearby when the going gets tough, and buying the right gear for the trip. The community brings all of that together in one place, with help from people who have been through the same problems.
